Welcome to the opening round of the 2012 RockyRoads UCI MTB
World Cup Pietermaritzburg presented by Shimano to be staged at Cascades MTB Park.
This is the second year in a row that this
unique facility will be hosting the X-Country and downhill UCI MTB
World Cup, in the build-up to the 2013 UCI MTB & Trials World Championships!
The team has been hard at work revisiting the top class courses
designed and maintained by the team of dedicated professionals,
with the intention of making the 2012 event even better than
2011.
With the Olympics looming in 2012, and the event
providing a gilt-edged opportunity for a dress rehearsal for the
2013 world title deciders, we are expecting a massive field of
the very best MTB riders in the world to converge on the
Cascades MTB Park in mid March.
